Corinne Kenney is an American artist who lives most of the year in Aiken, South Carolina. Until 2014, she was a longtime summer resident of Prince Edward Island, though more recently she has spent her summers on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. While born in Buffalo, New York, Corinne has Canadian roots. Her father was from Trois-Rivières, Québec. Corinne is a graduate of the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University (1962). Following retirement from veterinary medicine working mainly with small animals, she has dedicated most of her time to painting. Among her artistic influences are the painters Rosa Bonheur and Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida, and watercolourists Ron Lent and Bill Ternes.
