Boyde Beck (1961-2017) was an island historian. He was an historical research officer with the P.E.I. Museum and Heritage Foundation, but was perhaps best known for the stories of Island history he told on CBC Radio Charlottetown over a period of nearly 25 years. He also authored several books.
Dr. Ed MacDonald chairs the History Department at the University of Prince Edward Island. He has written several books.
