Dedicated to the memory of the author’s “son, John Francis (Frank) MacLeod, who was killed in action near Caen, France in World War II, on Jul;y 31st, 1944, aged 34 years.” Wraps show minor edge wear, soiling from handling, and areas of sunning. Overall, we rate the condition as good.
Beach Point is an unincorporated area located in Kings County in the eastern portion of Prince Edward Island, east of Murray Harbour. Its precise location is N 46°01', W 62°29'.
Cape Bear Lighthouse is located near the community of Murray River, P.E.I. The historic lighthouse dates back to 1881. It’s located on the southeastern tip of Prince Edward Island overlooking the Northumberland Strait. The lighthouse guides ships into Murray Harbour and is part of a series of lighthouses that allow vessels to safely navigate the Northumberland Strait. It was decommissioned and replaced by a skeleton tower in 2011.
