Wade Shaw grew up in Prince Edward Island, and started drawing at an early age. He graduated from Holland College in Charlottetown in 1999 with a diploma in illustration and graphic design. In 2005, Shaw moved to Toronto to pursue studies in music. In 2013, he entered the Bachelor of Industrial Design Degree Program at Humber College graduating in 2018.
