André Daudé founded his piano store, Pianos Daudé, in Paris in 1924. To promote the opening of his shop, Daudé designed his own poster. Apart from being a retailer, Daudé was also a pianist. It’s understood Daudé depicted himself playing one of his pianos. In 1975, the successful music store announced it was moving to a bigger space. To promote the move, Pianos Daudé decided to reuse the original image updated with the new retail address and telephone number.
